Sometimes on early turns a Bloodghast is all you have in your graveyard, and if you have a big dredge planned for the following turn, its sometimes better to just leave it in the graveyard so it can return Prized Amalgams later

I dont mind a bit of Callous Bloodmage to manage graveyards in a more powerful format, but I would rather just have something in the space to have a nut draw
